*Gonzalo was truly a design and thought partner - we had robust discussions about cost, function, and aesthetics. He always offered options for pricing and opinions on what's worth spending the money versus where to save.

*VBH was never trying to just sell a service but was helping us build a functional, beautiful home. Gonzalo would always say "I can do whatever you want" but talk through pros/cons and would give us reasons why it might not be the best idea due to cost vs benefit and provide alternatives

*Commitment to high quality and beautiful work

*Gonzalo was on-site nearly every day to oversee the start, progress and completion of work.

*Gonzalo is the owner, not just a sales guy so everything put into house is a reflection of him. Subs are held up to a high standard and if something isn't done right, it will be fixed promptly.

*He has a great design eye and attention to detail! An example is bringing his cabinet maker on site for several stain matching sessions until the tone was exactly what we wanted and complimented the doors and beams. Also, getting the large slabs of tile laid out perfectly so the pattern looks continuous. And his experience with many brands was awesome to help us choose finishes that are high quality and beautiful - not just the cheapest that you may have to replace later.

I have done a full house remodel before and the level of stress and anxiety we got from just hiring cheap contractors was not worth it. A trustworthy partner like Gonzalo is worth its weight in gold. We actually had FUN and excitement this time around and we are in love with the result. We will be using their team for any future work on the rest of the house. They are truly the best in town! and very, very good people.”
